The Flash players below all have 3 things in common:
- They source materials is all exacly the same (sze, initial export, length)
- The encoding used the same codec at the same bit-rate
- The encoding and deliver platforms are identical for each player
For each example, we varied several encoding options (only 1 per test). To keep the test bias in check, we'll reveal the differences when the study is complete. For now, please just tell us which you liked the best, and why.

Our Process
Developers are constantly getting new tools. mothodolgies, and crazy ideas for making the web work better. On this page, you will find our latest beta testing project. Sometimes its a new widget, form control, or design tool. Other times, it may be a comparative study of different techniques to do a similar thing. Feel free to drop by and see what we are up to. March Project
